Library
The College library holds a rich, rare and varied collection of books, journals and reports. The College has approximately 5,000 books and journals on subjects related to civil defence and disaster management. The College also subscribes to many international journals and bulletins.

   
  

Lecture Halls
The college has two lecture halls installed with modern audio visual presentation equipment and decently furnished. The technical lectures, table top exercises and computer simulation exercises are conducted in these lecture halls. One lecture hall has a seating capacity of 60 and the other of 30.

College Hostel
Moderate level of accommodation is available in the College Hostel. The Hostel has 48 rooms available for trainee officers on dual occupancy basis. The trainee officers are provided a cot and mattress in each room but the trainees have to bring their own bedding. The following room rent is collected from the trainee officers on completion of the course.

   
  1. Rs.7.00 per day for single occupation
  2. Rs.3.50 per day double occupation (Mosquito nets are provided by the Hostel Warden at nominal rent of Rs.5/- per net).
  3. Gazzetted officer Hostel has been added recently.
   

Dining
The college trainee officers mess is being run on contract basis through a contractor. The contract is based on yearly tenders. The college mess can accommodate 60 officers at one time. (New Rates w.e.f. 21st June 2015 are Menu 1- Rs.170/- & Menu 2- Rs. 210/-)
No subsidy is being provided by the college for running the mess and the contractor pays charges towards furniture, electricity, water and building.

Sports and recreation
Sports facilities like, Table Tennis, Carom, Chess, Volley Ball and Badminton are being made available to the trainee officers in the college campus. A contribution of Rs.50/- in case of a course of 15 day duration or more and Rs. 30/- if the course is of a lesser duration is collected from the trainee officers for these facilities.
